These were amazing things that you didn’t see most places. Most of the time, people used the tokens to play the addictive video games. The only use of these little brass coins was their limited artistic value and the ability to let you play games in the arcade. Outside of the arcade, though, these tokens had little or no value. If you took them home and started a collection, that was fine. Again, his primary goal was to get you to convert real money into tokens. The arcade owner didn’t care the tokens were cheap to make, and he bought them in bulk. You didn’t have to put the tokens in the machines.
